About Us

The Legacy Continues

The Volunteer Service Council of St. Louis is an independent service organization created to meet the volunteer and resource needs of charitable groups in the community. Since its founding in 1977, The Volunteer Service Council (VSC) has supported over 140 local St. Louis nonprofit organizations with financial gifts and volunteer service. Through short-term service projects and fundraising events, VSC enables organizations to achieve greater outcomes for those in need.

VSC provides strong role models for women of all ages. Members have backgrounds of varied interests, education, and occupations to form an energetic and committed group. There are always a variety of ways to serve, drawing on the unique gifts and talents of each member.

Our activities and events provide a valuable opportunity for service, fundraising, growth, camaraderie, and learning through participation in VSC. Membership is open to all who would like to participate, and new members are always welcome.
